Aspose.OMR Features
Aspose.OMR for Java is a programming API that allows developers to add Optical Mark Recognition functionality to their applications. With the use of Aspose.OMR for Java, developers can recognize data from photos and scans in most commonly used image formats.
Features
Aspose.OMR for Java has the capability to capture human-marked data from documents like surveys, questionnaires, examination papers, etc. Aspose.OMR for Java supports the following features:
- Recognition of scanned images and photos
- Ability to process rotated and perspective (side viewed) images
- Recognize data from tests, exams, questionnaires, surveys, etc.
- High accuracy rate
- Export the results to CSV and JSON file format
- Generate OMR templates from TXT files
General Features
- Written completely in Java
- Well documented with demos and API reference
- Supported Java versions: J2SE 6.0 (1.6), J2SE 7.0 (1.7), J2SE 8.0 (1.8) or above (for example Java 10)
- 32-bit OS support
- 64-bit OS support
Limitations
Following are some limitations:
- Recognition process works only with prepared templates (special markers will be drawn over the user’s form)
- Performing OCR operation is also not supported for now
- OMR operation will show results only in text format
